Introduction

These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Ivyaalo’s moving services.

Definitions

  • Customer: The individual or entity requesting moving services.
  • Company: Ivyaalo.
  • Goods: Items belonging to the customer to be moved.

Service Start and End

Service time starts from the company’s arrival at the pickup location (customer or goods), and time ends after all the goods are unloaded from the vehicle and delivered to the requested location and the company’s equipment (trolley/strappers, etc.) is returned back to the vehicle. Pricing is calculated upon the total service time that the customer has booked and additional services requested by the customer. If the actual service time exceeded the time period booked by the customer, a surcharge may be added to the total price.

Quotations and Estimates

Estimates provided are based on the information given by the customer and are subject to change. Final charges will reflect the actual services performed.

Booking and Payment Terms

For the moves within Uusimaa, a deposit is not required to confirm the booking. For the moves outside of Uusimaa, an advanced payment may be required, and it may depend on the distance. The minimum advance payment has been set to 50% of the total charge. We accept cash, MobilePay, Google Pay, Apple Pay, or bank transfer.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance to avoid the cancellation fee of 20€. Rescheduling is subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

Services and Obligations

The company will handle the move according to the moving plan booked by the customer. The company does not transport hazardous materials or perishable items.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers must ensure all items are ready for transport and comply with our guidelines for restricted items. Someone must be present during the move. It is strictly prohibited to force and rush the company’s workers since the company has to follow the safety guidelines and the road traffic rules and regulations.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by the customer’s side or events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, ongoing constructions, or labor strikes.

Amendments

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Customers will be notified of significant changes.
